Doilies, Crosses, Edging, Heart, Snowflakes, Baby Bonnet, Earrings, Pendants, Ring, Bracelet, Angels and Doodles

Gwen completed round three of Renulek's Spring Doily. Now she's on to round 4.

Mary Lena has Monica tatted, a design from Lene Bjorn's Tatted Bookmarks - cross shaped.

Sue shows her finished case with the owl on the flap and Morgana mouse hidden underneath. She finished Round 3 of the Monster Doily by Jan Stawasz which she's doing in wisteria colours. Round 4 is completed and she's already started on round 5.

Linda is making steady progress on Norma Benporath's Lace Mat. A strip of tatted edging embellishes an underwater scene on a crazy quilt block.

Cindy's Mom gave her some Sulky Blendables thread to try and since she needed a stash of bookmarks it was a perfect diversion so she made the Pearl Cross Bookmark by Dianna Stevens. Then she did Jane's bookmark pattern, with the cross variation by Grace Tan.

Claire has been working on a heart a month and did Edda Guastalla's Valentine's Day Heart. She finished the second row of Norma Benporath's Lace Mat working in Lizbeth size 20, colour Purple Med (#632).

Diane started a mystery tat-along at Craftree, but something isn't right because this piece will never lie flat. She started test tatting Robin Perfetti's "Noelle" using size 20 Omega which seems finer that Zizbeth threads. She was tatting while watching TV and managed to twist a chain before doing a join. That might have been all right but then she missed a whole section of chain and it's just too much to un tat. The snowflake design though is very pretty. The finished snowflake is the same size in Lizbeth and Omega threads even though they feel different. She's been using Aunt Lydia's and Artiste threads for her crocheted button flowers and she decided to try it on a tatted snowflake. The thread is not her favourite for tatting, but the lace looks good.

Fox cut out her ovals that should only have been joined at 4 points and now she is joining them correctly with the plum chain. The cap is cupping as it should, but she plans to tat it in size 20 Cèbèlia in violet for a better fit. It's much smaller in the size 20 and maybe that means it won't be big enough...Back to the Fikkert doily.

Jenn attended the Queensland Tatters meet up where Judith Connors gave a lesson on Inverted Tatting and she tatted her Beaded Damselfly. She's been testing tatting again for Elaine P Gan, making Bella Earrings, Clover Earrings, Double Heart Pendant, Falling Flowers Earring and Zinnia Earrings. She joined the 2015 Beginner's Mystery Tat-A-Long and she's wondering if she should use a split chain to climb into the next round or cut the thread and change colours for the next round.

Lilas made her first ring in tatting with a silver band and hematite beads.

Marie just had to make a few more star earrings. She has started another doily to go with a tea pot. Here's the next round, but do you recognize it? Another round on one from Jan's, Tatted Treasures. The centre is in size 20 but the yellow is size 30. These pieces are more designs for the Swirly collection. Here's a pendant to go with them. What would a set be without a matching bracelet?

Martha gives us a sneak peek at her new book which she hopes to have done in time for Palmetto's. The new book of course is angels.

Muskaan tatted Nellies Earrings adapted by Martha Ess. Then the earrings pattern by Patricia Vera-Camacho caught her attention and she has posted her instructions for working it. She has also posted the patterns for her own designs.

HisKid tatted this Mary Konior cross in size 40 Lizbeth Rainbow Splash. Then she did some test tatting for Elaine P. Gan, a pendant in size 40 Lizbeth Niagara Falls. Then an earring in size 40 Lizbeth Rainbow Splash. Which left thread on the shuttles so she made some doodles. She finally found her foam pads and got busy blocking this 2014 Spring Doily. She did another test tat in size 40 Lizbeth Christmas Green and Fruit Fizz

Wanda took off with some family members on an Alaska cruise and since she couldn't decide what she wanted to make, she just made sure she brought along some thread and several shuttles. She started with decorating a few buttons a short edging to put on the card holder on her lanyard.
