Earrings, Dragon, Teapot, Bookmarks, Doilies, Edging, Heart, Critters, Motifs and Leaves

Marie used two strands of Coats Metallic silver thread to encase these apple green cats eye stones for a pair of earrings. She used with one strand of YLI thread to make Anne Bruvold's familiar dragon and attached it to a shirt. her favourite teapot, from Martha Ess's Teapot book tatted in Lizbeth's Scottish Thistle size 20 was added to a pocket.
Cindy is thrilled that she has been able to tat with sewing thread, although in her excitement she attached the tassel to the wrong end of this cross and needs to re-do that part.
Denise tatted Network from Mary Konior's book, Tatting With Visual Patterns and it's so much prettier in the Lizbeth size 20 #607 Charcoal Med & #633 Purple Dk than in the plain vanilla white model in the book.
Diane tatted Stumpy in Sulky Blendables, Storm Clouds colour and it might have been the name, but she didn't enjoy tatting this one.
Fox is trekking ever onward with the Crown of Thorns edging she's doing for a hanky and belatedly remembering that a standard hanky is 11 inches along each side which needs about 44 inches of tatting to go around it. She has become re-acquainted with Valdani thread size 12 in some brighter colours and so far so good. The edging grows -slowly. Old Fashioned Heart designed by Etha Schuette in Valdani #12.
Frances tatted lots of Jane Eborall's doodles, Scorpion, Seahorse, Fish, Turtle and Snake to send to her cousin, who is a caretaker on a private tropical island in North Queensland, for his son.
Frivole is also tatting a hanky edging to give her a break from the butterfly doily that takes a lot more concentration.
IsDihara a jolt to her back when the hounds yanked on the leashes and she just HAD to lay down and tat on the holiday weekend. She tatted Mary Konior's Anniversary Motif from Tatting with Visual Patterns in Lizbeth size 20 Country Kitchen. The Very Small Butterfly by Jane Eborall used up the last 1 1/2 yards on a shuttle tatted in Lizbeth size 20 Summer Breeze. Fuschia Frivolité size 20 from Shuttle Lab Trends - dept 11 was purchased during Palmetto Tat Days 2011 and she has been holding it in reserve for a special project. It pairs well with Lizbeth®20 Boysenberry Dark for Maus' Old Fashioned Heart.
Jess has the fourth row of Maynard's Granny Afghan completed. The colours are Row 1: Pink Lemonade, Esmeralda, Aurora, Lizbeth Lemon Yellow and Camolicious. Row 2: Lizbeth Seagreen Light, "a nameless autumn mix", Pastel Rainbow, Rainbowlicious, and Rustic Blue. Row 3: Mindanao Gum, Torch Lily, Peacock, Pitaya Limeade and Lizbeth Lime. Row 4: Royal Biscuit, Serendipity, Lizbeth Purple Md, Royal Biscuit, and Pinkaholic.
Kelly loves Marilee Rockley's Small Maple Leaf pattern. The larger one is done is Karey`s HDT in size 20 and the smaller one is done in Altin Basak (50) thread with white seed beads, which she plans on turning into earrings. Jane's Red Eye Tree frog was tatted in size 20 Lizbeth thread and she needed to adjust it a little for needle tatting.
StephanieGrace used Lizbeth size 20, 662 and 693 to make a Tatted Dreamcatcher from Margaret's Designer Cards Patterns.
Sue managed to burn her finger which put a halt to tatting things like a butterfly edging in the new Lizbeth Girly Girl. Or the sock edging in the new Lizbeth Scottish Thistle and several other things waiting in line.
Vanessa tatted this doily designed by Teiko Fujito and tatted in Altin Basak size 30. Now she needs to find a suitable place to display it.
Wanda designed and tatted this little Split Ring Cross that's worked in Lizbeth #601 Snow White in size 20 and she shares the pattern for it.

Bull, Goats, Edgings, Bracelet, Necklaces, Motifs, Bookmarks, Doilies and Dragon

Margaret designed this bull pattern to mount on a card. She used Lizbeth thread Gold and white no 20, with two black beads for the eyes and some threads for the tail. From the TIAS challenge she tatted the black Goat with coats black no 20 with white eyes and it went to Sheila The white goat was tatted with Lizbeth white no 20 and has black eyes and it has gone to Janette in Blackpool.
Marie has posted some more designs from her Tatsmithing book. Elegant Jade actually has a banded agate surrounded by gold thread. Doublet uses carnelian agate stones, and Rosey has another agate.

Mariya shows us both front and back of her spirals with instructions on how she created them.
Julie scored some lovely hankies including this beautiful one with a tatted edging.
Marta has created a lovely scrollwork bracelet with pottery beads.
Ancolie created a simple and charming necklace by gradually increasing the size of the rings.
Bree shows us her first piece of tatted jewelry made to go with a pale green dress with bits of yellow and white in the flowers. The rings have tiny yellow beads and the chains have a trio of pale green beads.
Diane uses Tropical Fruit and kept misjudging how much thread it would take to tat a Flowerpiece fragment. She began to think the thread was jinxed and switched to Ocean Sunset. Here is Stumpy in Sulky Blendables Heather. The one in Hydrangea really does remind her of the flowers. The name Earth Pastels doesn't work for her, but it's a pretty colour. Here's another pair in Silver Slate and a whole collection ready to be sent off. King Tut thread in Jewel of the Nile colour is certainly vibrant.

Fox used #80 variegated Lizbeth from Denise, following Jon's Crown of Thorns pattern and managed to get a few repeats done while on vacation. Before she left she finished Karey’s Plain and Fancy Doily using Jess’s HDT, #40 and Delica beads from Miranda.
Frances' May challenge was to tat Anika's doily from her blog Tattingitup in Lizbeth #155 Ocean sunset size 40. Shannon's Flowers of Life doily was tatted in size 10 white thread and makes a nice coaster size.

Jess is still out of town, but she has been working on Mary Maynard's granny afghan pattern and teaching her brothers girlfriend how to tat.
Marty has been enthralled with split chains recently and she started a little string of stuff but ran out of thread. Then she wound on two colors of Sulky and started again, but it lost it's definition and started to look very cramped about the same time she ran out of thread. Then she hunted up a couple of other shuttles with more left-over thread and made this interesting little motif but was disgusted to run out of thread and not be able to find the ball of thread to add more.
Sherry decided her lanyard needed just a little something more so she added an adaptation for her Wisteria pattern from her Branching Encapsulation book.
Sue tatted the Flying Minor Norwegian Dragon in size 40 Lizbeth Christmas Red and Bright Orange for a 4 year old boy.
Vanessa tatted an adaptation from Mary Konior's Patchwork pattern, adding extra picots to the middle and then fraying them.
Wanda finished the insulated cup liner she was working on. The kitty is from Nancy Tracy at Be-Stitched and she guesses it's size 20 thread. The birds, butterfly and flowers are all things made while emptying shuttles in a variety of colors but mostly size 20, although she thinks the blue/white bird is size 40. The only thing she actually tatted specifically for this cup is the grass.
