Bookmarks, Butterflies, Earrings, Edging, Flowers, Motifs, and Snowflakes

BSOTF has created a flower just by tatting in a continuous manner for as long as you want.
Marta is finding the summer heat has her thinking of cool woods and blueberry bushes with dark fruit and bright green leaves like these earrings. The lilac motif came from a pattern found on line. More of the green and lilac are in this bookmark.
Wanda was pleased that her doily took a blue ribbon at the county fair. She visited Mount Vernon on her vacation and squeezed in a few minutes of tatting while she was there. Since she got home she added tatting to some glass tea candle holders and even put beads on them.

Fox tatted this design from 24 Tatted Snowflakes by Bjorn and she's proud of it even if it has a wee mistake. She's making lots of little flowers with the leftover thread to be used in note cards, as well as tatting some of the small designs from Kaye Judt's book Motifs for Marie. She's been using these blue shuttles to tat a blue motif and remarks that the tip of a quick dip in boiling water does work to tighten them up. She received her threads from Umintsuru along with a lovely tatted butterfly. Kelly has tatted some delicate edgings and added them to hankies for the bridal shop.
