Lady, Hearts, Bookmarks, Flowers, Leaves and more

Liyarra has decided to join the challenge and tats as her first piece, Patchwork which is designed by Mary Konior. It's from the book; Tatting With Visual Patterns and tatted in Manuela 204, size 20. NancyD joins the challenge with one of Heather's tatted ladies. This one is called Minnie and is tatted in Lizbeth size 20,colour " Angel's Love".
Ann tatted this motif from Mary Konior's book, Tatting With Visual Patterns. It is called Posy and has many twisted picot joins which caused her to master the technique. The thread is Lizbeth #663, size 20.
Fox started an onion ring pattern from Monica Hahn's Christmas Angels and other tatting patterns using left over HDT and she wasn't sure about using SCMRs on it and plans to use normal rings for the remainder. It is looking pretty. Rayanna received some Manuela size 20 for Christmas and has used it to start the TIAS.

M tatted Teresa's Shamrock in Lizbeth size 20, colour 684 and admits she didn't tat much over the holiday season except to do a couple more squares on the tablecloth she's making.

Vanessa saw some lovely little flowers on line, but she can't remember where, so she did her own version and finds they are just the right size to stick on a note card.

Mica tatted 23th day of December from Lene Bjorn's book in 1 strand of DMC metallic floss.
Aileen tatted her favourite Peacock Hearts by Brigit Phelps in Aunt Lydia's size 10 colour pastels, Melanie in 092, Aunt Lydia's in variegated blue, South Maid in Mexicano, all size 10. Variegated Milford size 20 and Spring Bloom Lizabeth size 20. The next 2 hearts are actually the heart bits from the Rainbow Heart Bookmark by Betsy Evans. On the left is Lizabeth size 20 Denim Whisper and on the right is size 20 Milford. And lastly the Sweetheart by Brigit Phelps. The first was tatted in Lizbeth size 20 Carribean and then she tatted it again, less the top 2 rings in size 20 Milford in variegated pink. Aileen finishes off with Hummingbirds designed by Heather and done in Aunt Lydia's size 10 colour pastels and size 20 Milford in purple and in pink.

Heather has been working on Jane's TIAS, I wonder what it is?

Jeff tatted Mary Konior's Windmill pattern and thought that it would look good in the variegated Lizbeth size 20 colour number 128 March Breeze, but it didn't turn out like he thought it would. Masquerade Motif was tatted with Lizbeth size 40 in Falling Leaves. He has been tatting Ruth Perry's Celtic Tatted Leaves and Flowers in Lizbeth size 20 green.

Krystle does a book review of "The Tatted Artistry of Teiko Fujito" and shows us some of the pieces she has tatted from the book which has patterns for 1, 2 or 3 shuttles. The final piece is from Teiko Fujito's "Tatted Fashion" which contains over 120 patterns.

TattingChic received a bookmark from Jeff who used "Patchwork" from Mary Konior's book Tatting With Visual Patterns and she sent in return the "Celtic Bookmark" by LaRae Mikulecky. Being an interwoven Celtic design she shows us both front and back
