Lots to Catch-up On

Mica has a couple of things to share with us. The first is a motif made from a pattern from a vintage Coats and Clarke book and then there is a pair of dragonflies made using DS9 Designs pattern. Aren't they cute little guys.

LauraRose has posted a picture of a Lisbeth doily she is tatting in a beautiful shade of blue.

Krystle has been receiving lots of tatting goodies in the mail this past week. Her Grandfather sent her a shuttle and some patterns. Her Grandmother who is 90 sent her a tatted hankie bonnet for the baby that is due next month and she received a package of HDT from Yarn Player in the Roses colourway. I think Krystle is now addicted to HDT. She has also started a challenge for people to finish there Part one of the Tat Program.

Steph has tatted 2 motifs for the challenge. Number 5 is an Alligator bookmark and #6 is a lion bookmark both are critters from Dianna Stevens' fantastic bookmark book Animal Bookmarks, A Tatted Zoo.

Vinnie is back after being away from the web for a week and she has a lot to show us. She has added another round to the doily she is working on, she shows us her very first tatting project and a little coaster that she made yesterday.

Ancolie shows us four motifs that are a colourful version of a pattern from Judith Connors done in DMC 80.

Wanda is very busy with family health issues but she had time to tat motif #15 "Heart's Desire" in DMC variegated blue size 8 Pearle.

Heather has tatted motif 13 and it was a test piece to see how she could manipulate colours in her tatting. Heather is coming up to her blog-anniversary and to celebrate she is having a giveaway. You will have to visit her blog for the details.

Tattingchic has tatted a heart. This heart is from Martha Ess' book of tatted heart patterns called"Tat's Amore'". The heart is called "Scallop Shell Heart".

Ellen Lai has been busy and she finishes her 25 motif challenge with an amazing, life-like Hibiscus. Way to go Ellen that is a wonderful piece of tatting. I wonder if we can convince her to share the pattern? Congratulations on finishing the challenge Ellen.

Carol has tatted a beautiful Mother of Pearl Button brooch for a friend using one of Jane Eborall's wonderful patterns.

Diane has taken a small motif to form the center of a doily then adapted an edging pattern by Krystle and adapted it to finish the doily and has given us the resulting pattern. This makes motif #25 of the challenge for Diane. Congratulations Diane on completing the challenge.

Jeff has completed the Spinning Wheel Mat in Americana thread that is what else but red, white and blue.

Wally has a lot to show us and the first items are teapots made using everyone's favorite designs from Martha's new book Tea is for Tatting. She also bought a Dremel and is starting to make shuttles. Her last item is bookmark butterflies designed by Ellen that are wonderful and the pattern can be found on Georgia's site.
